During the Dutch Life Sciences conference on November 24 in Leiden, a unique Life Sciences business game will be organised for teams representing Dutch Life Sciences Parks.
Today, the Netherlands remains a major player in the global Life Sciences and Health industry, with a strong technological position in several areas like molecular imaging, biopharmaceuticals, medical technology and health infrastructure. The sector is with companies, knowledge institutes and educational organisations concentrated in a number of well-developed clusters like Leiden Bio Science Park, Pivot Park, NovioTech Campus and Amsterdam Science Park. The Dutch sector owes this position to coalition building between businesses, research institutes and universities.
During the conference a unique Life Sciences business game will be held. Several teams representing Dutch Life Sciences parks will be challenged on how to achieve a great global position for our industry.
The teams will be challenged on aspects like:
- collaboration between business, research institutes and universities
- shared facilities
- creativity
- stimulating and supporting entrepreneurship
- cooperation strategies
All to achieve a stronger Dutch Life Sciences industry!
Iventus and Health~Holland hereby invites representing teams from the Dutch Life Sciences Parks to participate. A team will consist of 5 members including a cluster representative, an entrepreneur, a technology transfer officer, a life science starter and a student. The teams will be formed by the participating Life Science park organisations. The business game is part of the conference and scheduled during the conference programme between 08:00 - 11:00.
