Due to Covid, last year’s winners of the Venture Challenge were announced today at the Dutch Life Sciences Conference. The proud winner of the 2021 summer edition is Sella Therapies. The innovative startup Sella Therapies has developed a novel therapy for chronic pain relief that targets the body’s internal neuropeptide system.

The proud winner of the fall edition is QurieGen, formerly known as Monoceros Analytics. The innovative startup QurieGen has developed a single-cell sequencing-based method to map the changes in transcriptome, membrane and 100’ of intracellular (phospho)proteins simultaneously across multiple pathways (IP filed) to obtain a high-resolution map of cellular response.

We all looked very much forward to organise the 2021 edition of the Dutch Life Sciences conference early 2022.
Unfortunately due to the latest announced measures by the Dutch Government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 -1,5 meters distance, ⅓ use of the venue capacity and fixed seats-, it is not possible for our production to organise our event.

For instance it could be much harder to attract funding from investors.
